Today’s ride was a harder one. The classic Watopia Mountain Route. This Route is over 18 miles with most of it going up hill. About an hours worth of climbing. It has grades up to 14%. It was nice to get some climbing in.

In my latest build time video I show you how I built a chute blocker for my Dads Ariens IconX 52 inch zero turn lawn mower. It has about $60 worth of parts in it.

If you want to build one you will need the following tools:

– Welder, angle grinder, drill, tap and die set.

The metal you need is a sheet of 1/4 inch thick steel for the handle, the height adjusting plate, and the base to mount it to the mower. You will also need a 3 foot long 1 1/4 14g steel square tubing. Get a 5/16 steel rod also. Along with all that you will need to get several bolts and locking nuts.

These are not detailed instructions as each build will be different for each mower and for the parts you can find locally.

For ride number 6 I rode the Watopia Figure 8. This is one of my all time favorite routes. It is around 18 miles with hills and flats.

Chad and I went to Sac River for some Mountain biking. They just opened up a new boardwalk feature. It is nice to see Sac River get some love.

I have finally upgraded my video editing setup. I got an iPad Pro 12.9 and the preview screen in my editing app is bigger than my whole phone. This is going to be fun to make some awesome videos on.

All of my videos over the last three years have been shot and edited on my iPhone. So this is a super exciting upgrade for me.
